Energy saving VIP’s for Refrigeration and Storage
Whether manufacturing a new product or retro-fitting an existing unit, Kevothermal Insulation’s Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIPs) offer energy savings in wall thicknesses that have never been possible before. At a U-value of 0.142W/m²K specification it would take approximately 175mm of traditional insulation wall thickness to equal the Vacuum Insulation Panel’s 25mm thermal efficiency.
Vacuum Insulation Panels with low thermal conductivity can offer reduced power consumption for refrigeration. For applications at cryogenic temperatures the advantages are even more pronounced.
